Movement & Deformation Monitoring

Monitoring has a critical role during the construction phase of a structure, because it allow us to compare between what is being built on site and the design drawings, with the objective of control and evaluate the constructive processes, material performances and the constructive technologies used on site.

During the construction phase, monitoring allow us to apply corrective methods to guarantee the stability of the structures, and predict which actions to take if descrepancies start to appear.

Below are the phases of a monitoring survey:

  • Planification
  • Set up fixed base and measure points
  • Preliminary measurements
  • Measurements (time scaled)
  • Calculate horizontal and vertical displacements
  • Data analysis
